Nepean Ravens U14B - Crites are Gold Medal Champs at Ajax
What an incredible weekend for the U14B Crites team — tournament champions out of eight teams! Despite missing a key player and others battling through less-than-perfect health, the group showed unbelievable teamwork, resilience, and grit. Their heart and hustle powered them through every game. Skill development and structure were on full display, from clean breakouts to smart transitions and disciplined defensive play. The players trusted the system, and their growth showed every shift. Off the ice, the bonding was just as strong, highlighted by the hotel Amazing Race and the unforgettable moment of tossing Coach Glenn into the pool after making it to the semis.
Every skater contributed, with all players earning at least a point and 10 different skaters scoring goals — highlighting the team’s depth and strong connection. The dedication of the coaching staff on the ice, combined with the commitment of the parent group off the ice, creates a supportive, family-like environment where the players can continue to grow both individually and as a team.
