Interested in coaching with Nepean Ringette for the 2026-27 season?

We are currently inviting all those interested in coaching at the Competitive level for the 2026/27 to complete the “Expression of Interest” form by March 8th, 2026.

All those interested in coaching (Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches) are encouraged to submit this form which will allow Nepean Ringette to communicate information directly with interested candidates, when required. 

Coaching Application Due dates:

• Competitive Head Coach Applications (outlined below) must be submitted by March 8th, 2026

Head Coach Application Instructions:

All Head Coach Applicants must complete and provide the following to finalize their application and complete the Ringette Ontario (RO) screening process.  This additional information must be submitted to be considered for a Head Coach role by the application deadline 

1. Complete the:  Nepean Coaching Application Form;  
2. Understand and meet (or be able to meet) the Requirements listed in the Ringette Ontario Team Staff Qualifications Pathway, by the required RO deadlines. 

Note: Appointed Team Staff are eligible for reimbursement for all required certification. Any training completed during the summer months will be reimbursed to any approved Team Staff. 

1. Complete and provide a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC). If a new VSC is required, please e-mail coaches@nepeanravens.ca and one can quickly be completed through Sterling Backcheck. More information is available here;
2. Complete and submit the  Screening Disclosure Form (Ringette Ontario*);
3. Complete and submit the Annual Offence Declaration Form (Ringette Ontario*);
4. Provide one or two letters of reference related to the position sought;

Head Coach Applicants may be contacted to attend an interview to be conducted by a Coaching Selection Committee.

Coaching candidates should be familiar with the Ringette Ontario “Team Staff Selection Guidelines”.  Nepean’s own process generally follows the RO Guidelines.

Head Coaching appointments will be made as soon as possible.  Candidate information will be kept in confidence with a Coach Selection Committee and the Executive (as needed).

Assistant Coach Application Instructions:

All Assistant Coach Applicants must complete and provide the following to finalize their application and complete the Ringette Ontario (RO) screening process.  This additional information must be submitted to be considered for a role with the Association.

1. Complete the required sections of the Nepean Coaching Application Form;
2. Understand and meet (or be able to meet) the Requirements listed in the Ringette Ontario Team Staff Qualifications Pathway, by the required RO deadlines. 

Note: Nepean Ringette will reimburse all required certification for Head/Assistant Coaches appointed to teams. Any training attended during the summer months will be reimbursed to any Team Staff that is successfully selected for the season.
