The Nepean Ravens U14A team showcased incredible grit and growth at the Oshawa ringette tournament this past weekend. Knowing the northern teams would be very tough and formidable opponents, the team set a goal of reaching the Sunday semi-finals, and they did just that. The Ravens opened with a commanding 10-1 win against Oshawa, followed by a hard-fought 3-1 victory over a strong Sunderland team. Despite tough battles against Sudbury and the Sault, the Ravens finished the round robin with a 2-2 record, securing a semi-final spot against the first-place Sault. With a mindset of "nothing to lose," the team focused on narrowing the gap from their previous game. Though they ultimately fell short, the Ravens left the tournament with a valuable lesson in resilience and heart, proving they have the spirit to compete with the best.
