The Nepean Ringette Association will be hosting two U12A teams for the 2023-2024 season.
In order to participate in the U12A Sort outs we are requiring that participants register. The registration link via our RAMP registration site will be provided soon.
Registration Instructions
See below for steps on registering for the U12A Evaluations…
Nepean U12A Expectations
For anyone sorting out to a Nepean U12A team this season the NextGen U12 Advanced Skating Sessions will be mandatory. We also expect our U12A teams to attend the U12 Provincial Event that will be held at the end of the season. Prior to registering for U12A sort outs our Commitment Survey (waiver) is to be read and signed.
Nepean Evaluation & Jersey Fees
Evaluation fees are $75, plus $50 for a set of Nepean evaluation jerseys. If you already have a set of jerseys, you do not need to buy another set (these are the Nepean practice jerseys already in use). The jerseys are mandatory for evaluations.
Evaluation fees must be paid at least 24 hours in advance of the first session.
If paying your fees using e-transfer, please include the player’s name in the comments.
Conditioning Session
A 1-hour conditioning session will be included in the U12A sort out fee. This conditioning session will be on Friday September 1, 2023 at 8:00 PM - Walter Baker Sports Centre - Rink A.
Evaluations and Conditioning Schedule
The evaluations and conditioning schedule are available now on the Nepean Ringette Association website under the Sortouts page. Please review schedules daily as they may be subject to change.
How to prepare for Evaluations
City of Ottawa Ringette Association (CORA) put together a great video for players and goalies on how to get ready for evaluations (tryouts/sortouts). Nepean takes a very similar approach, so we suggest that all players watch the video.
The video link can be found here for players and here for goalies.
